The Hero Interactive team has been working on an all new, surprise game for a contest on Kongregate.com. Stay tuned for a quick little endurance game by Hero Interactive! It should be released in the next few days.

Sorry for the double post, but i forgot telling you that kongreagate rocks!! Btw, I went to this site, had REALLY much lag, and it didnt show the pics on the site, so i realoaded the page(that works for me sometimes), and then it was here!! So i saw it like 2 seconds after it was submitted. I allways thought the site would be down awhile when you put something on it, ’cause it was like that when the BTA Q&A came out.

This was posted in the stormwinds blog section. KC had to mean BTA.
He couldn’t have meant BTTD because from what we know of there game making process there was only one person working to make BTTD and two making BTA. KC used the word they in the post . This could mean we know what they are presently doing with regards to BTA, and if this is true that they are “finishing the coding” to the game, it will be coming out very soon!!!!!!!!

Guys… I know that it was kind of annoying that they posted jimmy bubblegum thing here. But you gotta understand they have been working hard on BTA when it’s done it is gonna be amazing, and to tell u the truth I didn’t like jimmy bubblegum that much either in fact I thought it was kind of bad but please be a tiny bit more patient it will probably be out in January.
The mini games suck (No offense) and you have spent way to long on this game. If you could get it done by…let’s say February, that’d be great.

ya, but they didnt have any blog posting places for jimmy bubblegum, soooo you probibly let out that game to keep everyone occupied. great plan, except, its a little confusing. you let down pieces of gum to get the bird to crash down to the ground for a ceartain amount of points. great plan, just wrong type of game. However, I do hope you guys get BTA to look and play amazing by february, because that is when the blog section closes.
I’m tiring of waiting as well. Due to the fact I am pretty impatient when it comes to video games, and also because they have been working on this game for quite a long time. But I know it will be one of the most amazing games I have ever played on the computer I am really excited about this game and I hope it will be out by at least Febuary or January If possible.

@ stormmaster: there have been man complaints about how long this game has been taking, they can only have 2 people working on the same game at one time. You would know that if you actually read the posts.

This is off topic, but all I’ve been playing for months now is BT2. I’ll try other games, but eventually I will come back to BT2. Even BTTD didn’t keep me for long because I feel the need to shoot those bubbles. (BTW has anyone actually found the sapper fighter)
What I’m trying to get say is that the hype for BTA is huge, everyone has heard of it by now. Without constant updates it feels like nothing is being done and the game is sitting there or maybe you guys are stuck. Please, release alittle bit, show off some new enemies, maybe a new gun. Anything to remind me and the other fans that what your making is worth the wait.

Christmas is absolutely a time to rest. It’s a time to celebrate with our family which we did. We were gone for a few days and now we’re back. Try to relax.
Plus, if you looked at the bottom of the BTA updat from October 30th, you would see that the blog will close in February. Plus, if you read some of the posts from that blog, you would see what they still have to work.
Oliver twist, think about it. Would you volenteer to work on a game that still has alot of hard, time consuming work left on christmas? Most people would say no unless they had no family. Not even trash-men work on christmas.

I know this game is taking a while, I tried making a game my self a while back (didn’t work out), but i know it takes a good perception, as well as a lot of time and work on whatever you’re working on. I’m posting saying that you should keep up the good work. Even then, I don’t mind the server crashes, or people that complain about bta. As long as it is done right, and we can play it for over a year and not get board. (I did not here about the server crashes.) bta is supposed to be a great game. I personally have been playing bt2 and trying to get all the tanks to get my mind off of bta. Un-fortunatly, I can never get the snapper fighter, so i went to other games. And going back to one of my other posts, they need to put up another blog-thing where we can continue this blog without taking forever to load. I won’t be able to get on the internet until January 2, so Happy new years everyone.
Ok, replying to omygod… Honestly, if people are constantly asking for info when HI specifically said “If we don’t post, it’s because we have nothing to say”, I think they are being ignorant. And as i said, most people are, on here, constantly asking for a new post or a deadline that doesn’t necessarily mean all. There are a number of users that express their gratitude. Finally, making a game usually takes longer than a year, especially one that has high expectations on both, the receiving end, as well as the giving end. They deserve their time, just be patient. Impatience is a human tendency, but that doesn’t mean it should be embraced.

on bttd, i have a mega mega tower that does
230k damage
range 787, and reload 1
the thing is, i have 3 OTHER MEGA MEGA towers on the field, and not enough room for damage things to make this thing have so much freaking damage, I’m still going strong powering through 10 waves at a time, except for ghosts, my towers arent too fond of ghosts lol. but i think its a glitch from
when i had made 2 mega towers solely from damage towers next to it, but either way, im up to wave 600, still going… its getting boring…
ok, i remodeled the other side of my map… got a tower woth 50k and 100k damage, so,

Anyone who gets “angry” at the HI Team for taking “long” on this game needs to grow up a little bit. First of all, I love Bubble Tanks as much as the next guy and I want Arenas to come out as soon as possible, but yelling at them isnt going to do any good.
They (HI) are making a free (FREE!) game for us to play. You should be greatful that they dont charge us for amazing games like the ones they come out with.
Creating games is nowhere near easy and i have no clue to how many steps and designs and things they have to do to make a game. Its going to take a WHILE. Everybody should just be happy that they update as often as they do, and that we are not charged anything for their product.
Now go play Bubble Tanks Tower Defense and waste time until BTA is released.

Have any of you tryed to make even a website to hold a game? The website itself takes about two months to get right. And thats without the game. Even when making a map-editor-made game is hard.
There is file placing, behavior of the bubbles and enimies, there is embeding the entire game into the website, there is background color(s), the logo, ad-space, making a menu, and more.
I personally attempted making a map-editor game, and it took foreverz. Especially since they have not made this kind of bt game since august of 2008. Look at Starwars: the new republic. That has taken a while to make, but very few people are complaining that I know of.
And going back to flameonfish, It is FREE (FREE! XD). Alot of games on the internet cost a good deal of money. And personally, I dont like to pay for games. And as people have said over and over and over AND OVER again, they need to make a new update for bta.
However, they would not have said “We’ve just had SO much going on. We’re free to work on this game a TON and we’re excited to get it done!” unless the game or update is coming out VERY soon.
And as for keeping busy while the game is being made, try going to armorgames.com. they have so many games to chose from. try playing every single game on the site. That will keep you busy for a good 6 months.

If they aren’t posting anything new about the game, its because they don’t have anything substantial to show us or tell us. I know all of you aren’t really patient, but still. Alot of people are explaining why the game is taking a long time to create, but noone is explaining why it’s taking so long to add a new update. This is because there is no reason. The HE members aren’t doing anything.
There will be an update when there’s update-worthy information. We’re still working on it! We’re programming. We’re working on art. The end! And Cerebrus, you’re just trying to cause trouble with this “They’re not really making the game they just like to make us mad” stuff. The people in this office work very hard every day. We need to make a living and so YES we make games OTHER than BTA. But our main focus at this time is BTA. Give us a break.

or at least an update you havent made an update since october the only thing you mentioned about in this one was “No…this has nothing to do with Bubble Tanks Arenas (which is still making progress, thank you very much!), so don’t get too excited.” COME ON!!!
Relax, there. You may or may not notice, but they ARE making progress, chap. When they stumble upon something big or note-worthy, they’ll let you know! As for the quabble over them not giving the release date, I’ve formed a hypothesis.
I’ve looked back at blog posts of released games, and I’ve noticed a pattern. They would give their fans a rough estimate of 2-3 weeks(Or days, depending on the blog post/game) to release the game. Many a fan were disappointed to see that the game’s release date took longer than expected. HI gave their, somewhat anxious, fans a spot-on reason for the delay, and the game would usually come out soon after. In the case of BTA, they choose(wisely) not to give a release date as to: 1) not disappoint too many fans at the very much expected delay, and 2) it’ll be a nice little surprise for us PATIENT fans.
Note: to the nitpicky little blighters out there, not all of my info. may be exact. Also, to avoid the risk of HI getting mad at me, their delays were most likely due to: fixing up the last bugs, coding and scripting, posting final tidbits of info, and other such and suches I may have not seen.

iv been here since the start and this is just geting annoying! I have seen the other updates and it looks great! but….. it has been 1 year and a fue months you could atleast give us a demo!(or something of that kind…) gona be a great game but im geting sick of the waiting >.

ok its been like 3 months since ive even thought about this place but when i did and took a look ……god you people are so …. i dont even have a word for you. You people need to get off their backs they are working on the game as fast as they can and if you want a crappy game then go somewhere else and I would like to see some of you people who are ranting about them not making this fast enough try and make a game faster and better than they are right now so just GET OFF THEIR BACKS some of you are acting like 4 year olds who didnt get the toy they wanted…… steph keep up the great work
guys you have to be patient. steph just told you guys what was going on but your still complaining. listen to the mods (or whatever the black large names are for)because steph just told EVERYONE what is happening and why there hasnt been any updates.THERE HASNT BEEN ANY UPDATE-WORTHY INFO SO SHUT UP AND WAIT!!! and stop complaining. everyone waits for games for over 2 years(normal games like on xbox 360)maybe even longer… but still the longer it takes the better it is

HI games can only have 2 people working on it at a time, so games don’t get too messy.

HI only has so much money to pay for the developers, bills, taxes, clothes, food, etc. So unless HI happens to win the lottery, or if someone donates a nice amount of Green to them, their game progress must be SLOW and STEADY, what with 2 people working on a game at a time and whatnot.

STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT THE WAIT. they’re going as fast as they can without messing something up. think about it this way, the longer they spend on the game the better its ganna be. and they only have so much money. they cant hire more developers. because they might have familys to care after (feed, clothe, utilities…) it takes time to program a game and to sript it and to do the art and fic the glitches this is a very big game. stop thinking of your selfs there are other people too who are waiting on other games they’re makeing. they are also thinking of new games to make. if u want to help donate to them. AND STOP BEING SELFISH SCROOGES.
