BTA Tank Editor VIDEO!
Here you can see some tanks being created in our all new tank editor; some are small and agile and some are VERY large. You’ll have to play for a while to get the ability to create the largest tanks, though. Enjoy!

Is there shortcuts for the buttons? like Delete to delete the selected bubble and we can only have 25 bubbles max and 4 weapons?
This looks absolutely amazing. I can’t wait for it to come out. I’ve noticed that the bubbles all seem to pulse in sync, unlike Bubble Tanks 2. I can see why, that would’ve been even more difficult to program, I would guess. So, Is the whole game red-purple themed now? (That’s rhetorical, just so you know.)

Well, as everybody, i am looking forward!!
It was a class 6 tank, and there are some limits on the weapons, witch i think is logical and great!
For instance, you can’t put the master gun on a class 4 or lower tank. Would be kinda fun thought.
See that tank the size of the sniper, but that can … shoop da hoop. Would be fun… but hack.

But that still means that it is possible, right?
Im also curious about the color of the bubbles.
And finally. I don’t expect an answer, but, are you guys done with the editor, and now starting the arenas?

oh, and i also think it’s WONDERFUL that you can rotate your weapons. that was something that frustrate me when i played upgrade complete, and i am very glad that you did it.
AMAZING! As I can see there is an undo button, but, si there a redo button? It would be really stressing if you had a big tank, accidentaly redo, and then ITS GONE! I, am too, intrigued by the bullets color, maybe purple? green? white? yellow?

@turchx: Yes, we always had plan for a symmetrical mode. But I’m glad to hear we’re on the same page!
@MInato: There is no redo button. However, clicking the undo button will only undo your last operation such as resizing or moving or placing a bubble. It can’t accidentally delete your whole tank.
Haven’t other pictures shown that the bubbles are blue?

Didn’t you pay attention? Instead of a blue color theme, they’re using a red-purple color theme to distiquish BTA from BT2 and BT.

@Jomn, Didn’t YOU pay attention. We’ve recently been talking about the color of bullets. So he’s saying that they might be blue.
Personally if your tank could only be red i would be pretty sad (i hate red :p). Maybe if you defeat a certain enemy bubble tank or reach a certain bubble tank level you can unlock new color styles (like in pixel) Other then that this game would be perfect for me.
I’m sorry, but unless I’m mistaken, he said something about pictures. I honestly didn’t see any other BTA pictures. So I’m just saying that he might not be talking about bullets and just the color of the bubbles themselves. We just need Weeslpat’s confirmation on he was talking about.
We have not yet determined what the color of the bullets will be.
The overall look of BTA will be redish-purple so that we distinguish it from the rest of the BT series. Someday when we return to the standard series with BT3, we’ll go back to a blue color.

Also, I’m pretty sure that there will be a finite limit. Infinite would also mean infinite possible lag. And Class 6 would be large and laggy enough. D:
I would like blue bullets best… Purple may work, though. With the red/purple theme.
There are Bubble Points and Gun Points. Everything uses up Bubble Points. Gun Points are only used up by guns. Bubble Points determine how complex you can make your tank.
The max tank size is class 6 which encompasses the whole box area. It will be hard to unlock class 6.

@konkvonkejvodo: Yes, tanks can place more than 1 secondary weapon. You will have to wait till all secondary weapons are charged up before you can fire. When you fire you will fire all secondary weapons at the same time.
So if you have a “mega bubble cannon” and a sheiks you have to fire both simultaniously?

Same as Chaotic, I’ve played both 1 and 2 so many times and unlocked/beaten everything, so now it got boring…and ever since summer ended, all the good games stopped coming out…PLEASE MAKE BTA A GAME I CAN PLAY FOR THE REST OF THE YEAR!!!

i will make a tank that will have 4 big tanks 5 machine guns 9 regular guns 9 sniper guns 9 spawn makers 9 mine makers and 9 different secondary wepons ( In memory of the movie 9)it will be in the shape of a 9.

On to serious questions…
Will there be any snap-to features in the editor?
Will the bubbles have to connect to each other for the tank to be accepted? If so, will they have to connect when the bubbles are fully contracted or fully expanded?
I also just noticed the bubbles aren’t pulsing in time to each other, which a poster above (Sam) said they were. (okay, so that wasn’t a question)
I’m not sure if I missed something but, can you edit other tanks?
